Jessie is a writer, editor, researcher, and content strategist who has worked with startups, technology companies and small businesses for over a decade.

She is the Senior Content Strategist at Brolik, where she leads content strategy and develops brand positioning and messaging for all marketing and web clients.

After getting her start in tech at the YouTube founders’ incubator startup and working her way up to Marketing & Community Manager (and getting to work on that classic Web 1.0 site Delicious.com!), she went on to freelance as a writer and growth marketer.

Jessie has written on productivity and entrepreneurship for brands like Asana and FoundrMag, and ran content for companies like Unbabel and Parakeet. She contracted for Sourceress, running recruiting messaging strategy for tech clients like Cruise, Medium, and Flexport, and setting up core business systems to ensure delivery of the core service.

She has advised many startups on growth marketing, both inbound and in-product. In Fall 2019, she was an Ingenius at The Glass Room, a pop-up exhibition exploring data and privacy presented by the non-profit Tactical Tech, where she facilitated workshops on protecting your data online.

Jessie has a B.A in Literature and Creative Writing from Westminster College, graduating in 2010. She was born in Palo Alto, CA and has led a strange and interesting life. Her interests include data privacy, sandwiches, and electronic music, running an electronic website and weekly newsletter for three years in the 2010s. She currently lives in Philadelphia.
